Join Old Stone House Director of Education, Maggie Weber, for a private tour on a moderately-paced 1-mile walk starting at Grand Army Plaza and ending at the Old Stone House (5th Ave. & 3rd St.)
The Revolutionary War Battle of Brooklyn was fought on August 27, 1776 right here in Park Slope & Prospect Park. It was the first major battle to take place after the United States declared its independence on July 4, 1776 and was the largest battle of the Revolutionary War in terms of both troop deployment and combat.
Please note this is a 2 hour, 1 mile walking tour staying on park and neighborhood sidewalks.
Tickets are $10 (a special GNPS discounted price, normally $25)
and must be paid with a credit card when you register.
Checks not accepted.
