Grieving Group:
Support group for people caring for loved ones with end-of-life issues and those who have lost loved ones.
This group will include meditation, guided imagery and Creative Arts approaches such as writing and collage. Our loved ones' physical and/or mental condition affects us as we care for them and after they are gone. How do we care for ourselves while dealing with the stress of the medical, financial, and emotional work necessary while our loved ones begin to pass? After they die, how do we continue a healthy bond with them while reconstructing our own lives after such a loss?
While this is a mutually supportive group that can be restorative and therapeutic, it is not a substitute for therapy or other professional services a participant might need.

Bring writing materials, collage materials (eventually) such as magazines, glue, scissors and paper, markers and paper or paint if you wish.
Same zoom link for all meetings, but be sure to register for each one if you want to receive reminders with the link.
As a courtesy to the coordinator and other members of the group, be sure to let them know if you are not able to attend if you are expected.
