Sunday 27August Green-Wood's annual Battle of Brooklyn event

12:30 pm GNPS members meet at Prospect Park West (at 20th Street) entrance to Green-Wood Cemetery

We will join the free, public event  -
Green-Wood Cemetery's THE BATTLE OF BROOKLYN AND THE MEANING OF FREEDOM - public event hours 11am-3pm

The main area for event acitivites is near the main entrance of the cemetery at the historic gothic gate. We will walk over - about 1/2 mile.

We will enjoy the displays and actitives then meet up at 2pm to join the parade up the hill to see the commemoration ceremony at the Battle Hill monument.

Participate in a parade up to Battle Hill to commemorate the battle and the soldiers who fought and died in it.
