About this event
An important part of the Good Neighbors of Park Slope mission is to advocate for services that are needed but not yet available, or, if available, are not sufficiently accessible for those of us aging in this community. Now that we have over 600 members we have a real opportunity to become an important force for changes and improvements that will enhance our lives.
Now we would like input from you, our members, about what issues you feel are important for us to target in our advocacy efforts. We would like to invite you to a monthly meeting where we will begin to think about what issues to focus on, and plan how we will go about advocating for changes we decide are necessary. We hope that you will become part of our advocacy team.
Please look at our “Advocacy” page on the website to see what we have already accomplished during the past two years. Now we need to plan what comes next.
Bring your ideas, or come and listen to the ideas of others, and help plan our direction.
If your plans change after you register and you cannot attend, please let us know.
