Caregivers Support Group 1
Meets Alternate Wednesdays from 9am -10:30am
on Zoom

A support group is unique ‑‑ a true give‑and‑take environment.   Its core is sharing: listening thoughtfully, relating, responding.  The caring evolves naturally, as we get to know and trust one another, becoming more comfortable sharing individual concerns and needs.  We listen thoughtfully and try to offer suggestions, especially based on our own experiences in caring for a loved one.

As we endure the ongoing stress of caregiving, most of us sometimes wonder, "But who will take care of ME?" This is the place to talk about our own needs and explore possible ways of dealing with them.  Only another actual caregiver can truly understand what it encompasses.

This group has been meeting for nearly 10 years.  Its foundation is that, while receiving help with your individual struggles, you're there for the other members, too.
