Discussion Politique en Français
Discussion politique en français is a Political discussion in French that will take place on
Thursdays at 3:00 pm at the Brooklyn Public Library Main Branch at Grand Army Plaza.
The group, which will meet weekly, is sponsored by the library and
Good Neighbors of Park Slope and is open to the public, and free of charge.
This is an in-person group meeting and there is no Zoom hybrid version.
One need not be a fluent French speaker to join, but participants will need to speak
French at a high intermediate level to participate. Those who feel they speak French
well enough are welcome to attend and see if they feel comfortable. Before each class
participants will receive a short news analysis article and a short news video to watch.
We will discuss recent developments in the United States, France, the francophone
world, and the world in general. At first, I will choose the reading or a video but once we
get going all participants will be welcome to make suggestions.
Space is limited, so be sure to register to be guaranteed a seat!
