Do you love New York City and our neighborhood? Can you find 4 hours once a month to give back to your community? Consider becoming a VOLUNTEER GREETER! It’s a great volunteer opportunity for retirees who enjoy meeting people and walking around the city!
One of our members, Sue Herskovits, would love to tell you more about this wonderful volunteer opportunity. She can be reached at susan.herskovits@gmail.com or 718-788-7415. Or see the Big Apple Greeter website:

Every Saturday Camp Friendship runs a food pantry for local neighbors in need, located on 8th Street below 6th Avenue. We also deliver groceries to homebound neighbors located in and around Park Slope, who are mainly elderly.
We are looking for new volunteer drivers and would love your participation!
If you would like more information please feel free to call or text Astri Kingstone at 646-221-9120
