Proposed Changes To Medicare

About this event

Proposed Changes To Medicare
Will Have Far-Reaching Effects

Medicare card

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced a plan to move all fee-for-service (traditional) Medicare beneficiaries from a non-profit public program to a profit-making private system.

This new Medicare system has the ability to:

.. automatically change an individual’s insurance, without their knowledge or consent

.. restrict access to providers and require prior authorization for tests and procedures

.. incentivize investors and private insurance companies to reduce services to seniors in order to make a profit

Register for this important Zoom meeting to hear about the current plans CMS has to eliminate traditional Medicare and the effect these changes will have on our coverage and healthcare.

There will be a Question & Answer period and information provided about where to learn more and what actions we can take to preserve traditional Medicare.
