About one week before each class, you will get a list of shopping ingredients and on the morning of the class, you will get the recipes and any advance prep instructions. All skill levels are welcome. Let's get cooking!

About the Chef:

As a first-generation Italian-American woman from Brooklyn, NY, Loren Avellino practically grew up in the kitchen. Her mom made home-cooked meals every night, and Loren was always by her side. Her nonna (mom's mom) taught Loren how to make fresh pasta, and her father's mom (granny) taught Loren how to bake.

It should come as no surprise that Loren eventually found her way to culinary school. She attended the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City where she earned a degree in Culinary Arts. From there, she went on to cook in restaurant kitchens, both locally and in Sardinia, Italy. Chef Loren has also worked on recipe testing and development, food styling, writing, catering, teaching, and even cooking on TV. Nothing makes her happier than when she's in the kitchen.
