With attention focused on all things composting and food waste in Brooklyn these days, it's a great time to talk about the best food waste‑using strategy of all time: Leftovers!
This highly colorful slide presentation given by a local food waste advocate, will empower you with inspiration to save money, eat well and cut down on climate emissions by "shopping your refrigerator" and transforming what's leftover from last night's dinner into something new and delicious.
Plenty of time built in for questions and what is expected to be lively, fun discussion.
Presented by GNPS member, Jacquelyn Ottman, food waste advocate, culinary historian, author and immediate past chair, Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board.
