The Quaker Cemetery in Prospect Park is open to the public on
Saturday 21 September. Let’s meet at the gate to the cemetery at 1:00 pm and enjoy the serenity and beauty of this traditionally off-limits space.
This is not a tour - we will enjoy the space at our own pace.  We can go for a coffee/tea afterwards if people would like. 

The cemetery has grassy, irregular terrain so please wear appropriate footwear. 

Directions:
The closest park entrance is 16th Street & Prospect Park Southwest. Proceed straight onto Center Drive and the cemetery entrance is on your left.

Come enjoy the serenity and beauty of our Quaker Cemetery in Prospect Park. In September we’ll open the gates on the third Saturday from 11am-3pm. It’s a great time to ramble about the cemetery at your own pace or just sit and relax on one of the many benches dotting the landscape and take in the flora and fauna. Arrive and leave when you like…it’s your time to indulge in this spiritual oasis.  Please no photos allowed.
